Dr. O.P. Chhabra did his M.B.B.S. from Govt. Medical College Patiala in 1963 & worked in different capacities with Govt. of India at Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy of administration, Mussourie, from where he was selected for deputation on foreign assignment with govt. of Tanzania, Nigeria. It was during this period that he came in contact with chinese doctors practising acupuncture.

He was astonished to see wonderful results in so called incurable ,chronic diseases in modern system of medicine (e.g. Asthma, Migraine, Slip disc ,Paralysis) he started learning this therapy and later did MD (AC), Gold Medalist from Institute of Medicina Alternativa, Colombo, Srilanka. Practicing acupuncture for 35 years.

Formerly he was Senior Consultant Acupuncturist and Acuyoga Therapist with VIMHANS (Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences) and Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, Delhi.

He has travelled world wide and attended several International conferences. His TV programme has been telecast on DD, Star TV, Aaj Tak, Channel 7, Sadhana TV etc.

His articles regualarly appeared in newpaper magazines-Hindustan Times, Navbharat, Hindu, Life positive, Anant.

He Has delivered Health awareness lectures in Rotary, Lion clubs, MMTC, IAAI, STC, RBI NHPC, EIL.

He is using Acupunture and Acuyoga (combined therapy of Ancient Chinese System of Acupuncture and Oriental Yoga to treat chronic incurable diseases).

Dr O.P. Chhabra is assisted by Mrs Jyoti Chhabra Gupta who together as a team has conquered many illnesses. Dr Jyoti Chhabra Gupta has been practising for last 10 years in the field of Acupuncture and Alternative Sciences and is also a certified practitioner for Reiki, Natural Health and Yoga.
